Matagalpa, Granada, and the Campo

Matagalpa, Granada, and the Campo
It's 4:30am. I've been up since 3:00. The roosters are crowing, and for awhile the innkeeper had "2 1/2 Men" on in his room adjacent to the lovely lobby. Two orange kittens are chasing each other around on the cool tiles. I don't know where the coffee is, but we got some Coke Zeros last night and put them in the fridge (20 cords each, so about 85c - not bad for a soda here), so I have some caffeine.  This is our 9th day, but I already feel enough at ...

Hello from 36,000 feet!

We're over the North Atlantic, almost to Greenland. And I'm on the Internet. Amazing! In 4 hours we'll be in America, and in a little over 8 I'll be in my home state. I should be at home in 12. It went so fast! I'll write more on our various adventures later, but wanted to thank everyone for their messages and prayers. It was a great trip! Super busy, with some unexpected happenings (like the vehicle breaking down 3 hours from Kampala), but we had a wonde...

We've learned SO MUCH in these 4 days, so even though it seemed a little long to visit such a small town, it was the perfect first stop. ...

Andros Update plus Solar Oven Kits

I have been traveling a lot, and haven't been very good at updating the blog (although the Facebook page is updated regularly, so you can head over there and Like it, so you get all the latest news!). There have been things happening, so here's a quick update. ANDROS: Yesterday I wired the retainer to the attorney in Nassau, and I'm praying they don't need it all to get the nonprofit company started there. Yikes! I also sent them the Letter of Engageme...
