We use 100% of individual donor contributions for our programs and ensure that donors’ hard-earned money makes a vital – and speedy – difference. Crisis care, Literacy and Vocational education, counseling, and stability give teen moms and teen girls a gateway out of the cycle of early pregnancy and poverty.

Have you ever given a donation for an emergency and wondered what really happened to it? We have, too! Large nonprofits have a huge bureaucracy overseeing all of their programs, and sometimes moving fast isn’t in their wheelhouse.
We are a small but mighty organization largely because we ARE small. We don’t have a “pipeline” of decision-makers. We are able to pivot quickly to respond with our local partners to crises. When we raise money for an urgent need, our average turnaround from donors’ donations to purchasing the needed item or solving the problem is 5 days.

Since our first trip to Uganda in 2009, we have given 100% of donations to the work. Yes, we have expenses like this website and accounting software and business cards. We have angel donors who make in-kind donations and provide those things for us by paying for them directly. When we travel, we pay for those expenses by donating the cost of all the flights, food, accommodation, and transportation to cover it. Our Founder/Executive Director and Board members work for free.
We don’t know what the future holds or how big we’ll get. But our commitment is that 100% of donations given for the programs go to the programs. Period.
